ISDE Six Days 2010 – Another Succesful KTM Outing

aubertThe ISDE – the International Six Days Enduro concluded on Saturday and the 85th edition in Morelia, Mexico was an excellent opportunity for KTM’s Enduro Factory Racing Team riders to shine on the international stage as well as a chance for KTM to provide full customer support and spare parts for hobby riders who take part in this popular annual event.

Johnny Aubert stands out in competition
Undoubtedly the KTM star of this year’s event was factory rider Johnny Aubert, who not only won every day’s competition in his E2 class; he also played an important role in helping France to secure the prestigious World Trophy. Aubert was a model of consistency over all terrain and was also the fastest rider in the competition.

Strong showing by KTM’s Italian riders
Second in the World Trophy was Italy thanks to the efforts of KTM riders Thomas Oldrati (third overall in E2) and Simone Albergoni and Alessandro Belometti (both E3) who were fourth and sixth in the final standings.

Eero Remes in the forefront for Team Finland
A strong KTM lineup helped Team Finland to secure third place with factory rider Eero Remes playing a leading role. Eero was second on four days and third on the remaining day of competition. He was well supported by KTM rider Oskari Kantonin.
USA takes fourth place in World Trophy
It was Mike Brown and Kurt Caselli who were the key riders in Team USA, which sealed fourth place overall in the World Trophy, with Caselli in the top five except for Day One when he finished sixth and Brown who never slipped below 10th and was consistently up with the leading group.

Spanish riders star in the Junior Trophy
KTM riders were also very competitive in the Junior Trophy, especially the two young Spanish riders Lorenzo Santolino and Mario Roman who drove Team Spain on to take first place and underline that they are continuing the excellent form they showed to finish in the forefront of junior competition in this season’s world championships. Sweden with KTM rider Henk Lindholm was second and USA with KTM riders Ian Blythe and Cory Buttrick finished third.

Strong KTM riders in Women’s Trophy; strong showing in Manufacturer’s title
While French women were dominant in the Women’s Trophy, two KTM riders in Kerrie Schwarz and Nicole Bradford helped Team USA to secure second place. KTM teams also dominated the Manufacturer’s award taking places 1, 2, 5,8,10 and 12 while certainly the best KTM home grown rider was Mexico’s Homero Diaz who finished seventh in the E3 category.

Aaron Bernadez of Spain wins KTM Toughest Club Rider Award
In recognition of the importance of this annual event for hobby riders, KTM also sponsored the KTM Toughest Club Rider award, which was won by Aaron Bernadez, who was supported by KTM Spain.
Different terrains and conditions
Organizers came up with a range of different terrains for the riders to tackle during the five days of competition and they faced very hot and extremely dusty conditions in first two days. It was this dusty condition and resulting bad visibility that cut short KTM USA’s Cory Buttrick’s ISDE. After a strong start in Day One Cory’ took a fall after running into a tree stump on Day Two and had to sit out the rest of the competition. Fortunately he only sustained bruises and abrasions. Regrettably organizers were forced to cancel the final day of competition after what they described as “circumstances beyond their control” that could have compromised rider safety. The decision was endorsed as correct by FIM officials.

KTM was a strong presence in the ISDE paddock again in 2010 supplying customer service packages, spare parts service, workshops and expert advice.

ISDE 2011 scheduled for Finland
Except for the intervention of the two World Wars, the ISDE has been on the FIM calendar since 1913, when it was first held in Carlisle England. The next event will be held in August 2011 in Finland, a country that has a strong tradition in Enduro riding. The ISDE continues to be the highlight of the Enduro season and is always guaranteed to test the mettle and machines of passionate riders at all levels.

One thing I have actually noticed is there are plenty of misconceptions regarding the financial institutions intentions when talking about property foreclosures. One fable in particular is the bank wants your house. The lending company wants your money, not the house. They want the cash they gave you together with interest. Averting the bank will draw some sort of foreclosed final result. Thanks for your article.

Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer but only for a short while. I however have got a problem with your jumps in assumptions and one might do well to fill in those gaps. In the event that you can accomplish that, I would surely be fascinated.

Charging ‘ when an offensive player pushes or runs over a defensive player.

If the second player misses, they have to get the rebound and get it in. You should only use backgrounds and photos that you have permission to use.
