Day 5 Daily Video Update – ISDE 2009
Day 5 is the final day of actual trail riding before the final motocross on Day 6. Even though the course for Day 5 was new it still was a challenge for the riders and a beating for their machines. At this point in the race its going to be hard for the US Team to make up some ground in the overall standings. Rookie Junior, Cory Buttrick is proving that he has the speed to hang with the big boys and has been putting down some really fast time. A tree root in Portugal has a small piece of Timmy Weigand’s pinky finger, but Weigand dug deep and finished the day for the team.
Another day, another DVD. Same rules as the last one. Make a comment and show Team USA that we are back here rooting for them. We will randomly pick a winner and they will receive a copy of the 2008 ISDE Greece DVD.
UPDATE: Winner of the DVD is EDDIE BRIGHT aka FAST EDDIE , you will be contacted via email.

GO USA!!!!
That is absolutly wild at the 4:10 mark with Weigand’s finger, I wouldn’t have thought twice about how gnarly it was until you see the footage of his finger. That guys got big kahunas for finishing yesterday and riding today. Guys an animal!
Wowwwww that is a nasty finger injury, that trail has to be very very hard. Excellent video report !!!!!!
Ya’ll know I’m your biggest fan, not literally, just figurately speaking.. We’re behind you all kick it in the MX test…

That is some nice sand. I think team USA can hold thir heads high on the last day.
timmy your tough keep it up it will pay off Scott
Jeez, what up with all the beach sand! Another brutal day. Weigand is the man. He and JCR get after it. Been a good year for him and he’s keeping it rolling. Too bad Dietrich won’t make the final motocross. With all the AMA action he had this year he would have been strong on Day 6.
I would just like to say to all that I will accept this award on behafe of my race team “Team DNF Racing” and all of the guys back at OQCCS.com who have tolerated my antics on our forum over the years. It is a great honor to have this award bestowed on such a mediocre racer such as myself. If I could ride half as fast as I can BS, then I would be a half-fast racer. I’d like to thank the accademy, the US riders in Portugal and ISDE.tv for making this award possible, not to mention my lovely girlfriend Mily who lets me get on the computer when I should be doing the dishes. Thank you, thank you, and now let’s get down to having a party….
